Sidoarjo Regency

Sidoarjo is a regency (kabupaten) of East Java, Indonesia. Sidoarjo is bordered by Surabaya city and Gresik regency to the north, by Pasuruan regency to the south, by Mojokerto regency to the west and by the Madura Strait to the east. It has an area of 634.89 km², making it the smallest regency in East Java. As of 2000, Sidoarjo had a population of 1,549,883. The regency is part of the urban planning region surrounding Surabaya, known as 'Gerbangkertosusila'.

Surabaya International School

Surabaya International School, Indonesia, was founded in 1971 as a non-profit, English-medium, college preparatory school for foreign students under the sponsorship of the American Consulate. It was called the American Consulate School and began operation with 14 students. This airport serves Surabaya and surrounding areas. Juanda International Airport is operated by PT Angkasa Pura I. The airport takes its name after Djuanda Kartawidjaja, the last Prime Minister of Indonesia who had suggested development of this airport.
