Balibo is a town in East Timor situated approximately 10 kilometres from the Indonesian border. It is located in the subdistrict of Balibo, Bobonaro District. Mota'ain

Mota'ain, also spelled Mota'in or Mota Ain, is a village in Bobonaro District in East Timor and is the country's main road border crossing into West Timor in Indonesia. The East Timor-Indonesia border runs along the River Mota. Mota'ain is 118km west of the East Timor capital Dili and 3km west of the town of Batugade. The first town across the border in Indonesia is Atapupu, 25km from Atambua, the seat of the Belu Regency of the Nusa Tenggara Timur Province in West Timor.
