Mount Mutis
Mount Mutis is the highest point of East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, at 2427 metres above sea level. It is located in the Gunung Mutis Nature Reserve in the South Central Timor Regency, 150 kilometers from Kupang, around 40 km north of the town of Soe. The mountain is a popular climbing site. The Dayuan people believe that the Almighty, who gives rain, wing, and life, resides on Mount Mutis.

Amanuban
Amanuban was a traditional princedom in West Timor, Indonesia. It lay in the regency Timor Tengah Selatan. In the late colonial period, according to an estimate in 1930, Amanuban covered 2,075 square kilometers. The centre of the princedom since the nineteenth century was Niki-Niki. The population belongs to the Atoni group. Today they are predominantly Protestants, with a significant Catholic minority and some Muslims.
