Mount Guntur

Mount Guntur or Gunung Guntur is an active stratovolcano in western Java. It is part of a complex of several overlapping stratovolcanoes about 10 km northwest of the city of Garut. The last eruption was in 1847. At an elevation of 2,249 m, Mount Guntur rises about 1,500 m above the plain of Garut. It produced frequent explosive eruptions in the 19th century, making it one of the most active volcanoes of western Java. Since then it has not erupted.

Mount Kendang

Mount Kendang is a stratovolcano in West Java, Indonesia. It contains four fumarole fields including Kawah Manuk, a broad, 2.75 km wide crater. Sulfur sublimation, mud pots and hot springs are found in the volcano.

Galunggung

Mount Galunggung is an active stratovolcano in West Java, Indonesia, around 80 km southeast of the West Java provincial capital, Bandung (or around 25 km to the east of the West Java town of Garut). Mount Galunggung is part of the Sunda Arc extending through Sumatra, Java and Bali, which has resulted from the subduction of the Australian plate beneath the Eurasian plate.
