Rawagede massacre

The Rawagede massacre was committed by Dutch armed forces on 9 December 1947 in the village of Rawagede (now Balongsari in West Java), during Operatie Product. Dutch forces were deployed in the East Indies to try and retain them as a Dutch colony. They were fighting Indonesian Republicans seeking independence for Indonesia.

Batujaya

Batujaya is an archeological site located in the village of Batujaya, Karawang in West Java, Indonesia. The site is five square kilometers in area and comprises at least 30 structural in what Sundanese call hunyur or unur (high mounds of earth consisting of artifacts). Unur is similar to the manapo found at the Muara Jambi archaeological site. The site was first found and examined by archaeologists from the University of Indonesia in 1984.

Karawang

Karawang (Kota Karawang or Karawang Kota) is the capital of the Karawang Regency of West Java, Indonesia. It is located 32 miles east of Jakarta. In March 2010 Karawang suffered severe flooding with 10,747 houses being flooded, 11,540 families affected and 44,071 persons affected. Singaperbangsa Stadium

Singaperbangsa Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium located in Karawang Regency, Indonesia. Mostly, this stadium is used for football matches. The stadium is currently the home base of Pelita Jaya, a football club playing in the Indonesia Super League (ISL) and also Persika Karawang which is playing in the Second Division (the 4th level football competition in Indonesia).
