Lar National Park

Lar National Park (پارک ملی لار park-e melli-e lar in Persian) is a protected area in Iran, on the foot of Mount Damavand, straddling the two provinces of Mazandaran and Tehran. The Lar Dam is located in the park, and is a major tourist attraction, situated just 70 kilometers northeast of the capital and the most populous city of the country, Tehran. The area of the park is around 30,000 hectares. This area dates back to 600-700 A.C.

Shahandasht

Shahandasht is a village located in the Larijan district of Amol county, in Haraz road between Amol and Tehran, with a 50 meter two-storey waterfall. The Malek Bahman castle is also a historical castle attracting visitors in the village. Shakl-e Shah, carved image of Nasser al-Din Shah and soldiers, which dates back to 18th century is near Shahandasht.
