Newbridge, County Galway

Newbridge is a small rural village located in County Galway in Ireland. It is located on a National secondary road, the N63 Galway City - Longford and is 55 km from Galway City and 25 km from Roscommon Town. The village has had various names in Irish such as "An Droichead Nua" as used officially, but there are also "Gort an Iomaire" and "Cruffan". The English name Newbridge comes from the village's iconic bridge over the Shiven River.

Ballyforan (Irish: Béal Átha Feorainne, meaning "mouth of the ford of the beach or strand") is a village in south County Roscommon, Ireland on the R363 road between Ballygar and Dysart, County Roscommon. It lies beside the River Suck which separates County Roscommon and County Galway. Home of the Kelly Clan.

Caltra is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Caltra, County Galway, Republic Of Ireland. The club is a member of the Galway GAA. It is a Gaelic football club. Castlestrange stone

The Castlestrange stone is located in the grounds of "Castlestrange House" near Athleague in County Roscommon. It is a granite boulder decorated with flowing spirals in the La Tène style, dating from the Iron Age period between 500 BC and 100 AD. It is believed that there was a strong Continental influence in Ireland at the time, which the carver was imitating. Only three other stones of this type have been found in Ireland, of which the Turoe stone in County Galway is the best known.
