Murroe
Murroe, officially Moroe (Irish: Maigh Rua, meaning "red plain"), is a small village in County Limerick, Ireland. Murroe is located in the north-eastern part of County Limerick approximately 15 km from Limerick City and close to the Tipperary border. Nearby towns include Cappamore and Newport. The village is located on the R506 road. It is surrounded by the Slieve Felim mountains. The population is approximately 800.

University of Limerick
The University of Limerick (UL) is a university in Ireland near the city of Limerick. It was established in 1972 as the National Institute for Higher Education, Limerick and became a university by statute in 1989 in accordance with the University of Limerick Act 1989. The university was the first university established since the foundation of the State in 1922, followed later the same day by the establishment of Dublin City University.

Lough Gur
Lough Gur is a lake in County Limerick, Ireland between the towns of Herbertstown and Bruff. The lake forms a horseshoe shape at the base of Knockadoon Hill and some rugged elevated countryside. It is one of Ireland's most important archaeological sites. Humans have lived near Lough Gur since about 3000 BC and there are numerous megalithic remains there. Grange stone circle (the largest stone circle in Ireland) and a dolmen are located near the lake.

Ahane GAA
Ahane GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the Ahane, Castleconnell and Montpelier areas of east County Limerick, Republic of Ireland. The club fields teams in both hurling and football and historically is regarded as one of the great clubs of Limerick. Ahane's greatest players were the Mackey brothers, Mick and John and Jackie Power among others.

St John's Cathedral (Limerick)
St. John's Cathedral is one of two cathedrals in Limerick, Ireland. Built in 1861 and designed by the architect Philip Charles Hardwick, it has been in continuous use since. The most recent restoration work carried out was in 2003/2004 on the roof and exterior stonework. It is a Catholic cathedral, the city's other cathedral, St. Mary's Cathedral being Anglican. The building has the tallest spire in Ireland, at 94m, and is the tallest structure in Limerick.
