Slane Concert

Slane Concert (often referred to as Slane) is a concert held most years since 1981 in the grounds of Slane Castle near Slane, County Meath, in Ireland. The castle is owned by The 8th Marquess Conyngham, who was known as the Earl of Mount Charles from 1974 until 2009. Slane lies between Navan and Drogheda, about 45 km northwest of Dublin. Concerts typically occur on a Saturday in August, from 12:00 to 22:00.

County Meath

County Meath is a county in Ireland. It is part of the Mid-East Region and is also located in the province of Leinster. It is named after the ancient Kingdom of Mide (meaning "middle"). Meath County Council is the local authority for the county. The population of the county is 184,135 according to the 2011 census.

Drumconrath

Drumconrath or Drumcondra (historically Drumconra, from Irish: Droim Conrach, meaning "ridge of Conrach") is a small historic village situated in north County Meath, Ireland. The parish borders County Louth and is also close to the borders of Counties Monaghan and Cavan. Tara Mine

Tara Mines is a zinc and lead mine near Navan, County Meath, Ireland. In the Navan ore body Tara is an underground mine where the orebody lies between 50 and 900 metres below the surface. The deposit was discovered in 1970 by Derek Michael Romer, development started in 1973 and production began in 1977. Tara Mine is operated by Boliden.
