Ahane GAA

Ahane GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the Ahane, Castleconnell and Montpelier areas of east County Limerick, Republic of Ireland. The club fields teams in both hurling and football and historically is regarded as one of the great clubs of Limerick. Ahane's greatest players were the Mackey brothers, Mick and John and Jackie Power among others.

Montpelier, County Limerick

Montpelier is a village and a townland in east County Limerick, Ireland, on the east bank of the River Shannon. It is connected to O'Briensbridge across the river in County Clare by a 14-arch stone bridge. The first bridge across the river here was built in 1506 by Turlough O'Brien, First Earl of Thomond and his brother, the Bishop of Killaloe. This 16th-century bridge was in turn replaced or rebuilt c. 1750. The five arches on the west side of the bridge date from this period.

Milford National School

Milford National School (Irish: Scoil Áth a' Mhuilinn), founded by Thomas Brown, is a school located outside Limerick City in the suburb of Castletroy in the Republic of Ireland. The school's principal is Kathryn O'Mahony and the vice principal is John Nelligan. The UL campus is a short walk from the school and about 500 children atted the school whose colours are navy and blue.
