Lyracappul

Lyracappul (Irish: Ladhar an Chapaill, meaning "fork/confluence of the horse") is a mountain in Limerick in The Republic of Ireland. With a height of 825 metres (2,707 ft) it is the second highest of the Galtee Mountains and the 29th highest peak in Ireland. Lyracappul is also the second highest point in County Limerick. The mountain has a steep southern slope.

Glen of Aherlow

The Glen of Aherlow is a picturesque valley nestling between Slievenamuck and the Galtee Mountains in the western part of South Tipperary in Ireland. The principal village is Lisvarrinane or more commonly spelt Lisvernane with a hamlet at Rossadrehid where Aherlow creamery was located before its closure in the late 20th century.

Golden Vale

The Golden Vale (Irish: Machaire méith na Mumhan) is an area of rolling pastureland in the civil province of Munster, southwestern Ireland. Covering parts of three counties, Limerick, Tipperary and Cork, it is the best land in Ireland for dairy farming. Historically, and occasionally still, it has been called the Golden Vein.
