Kilshanny

Kilshanny is a village in the west of County Clare, in Ireland. It is located on the N67 national secondary road. It is a small village with only a pub (Kilshanny House or colloquially called "the Shop") and a church. St Augustine is the patron Saint of the Parish. There is also a Primary School. There used to be a small shop ran by Mary and Kathleen Thynne but this has since closed.

Burren Smokehouse

The Burren Smokehouse is an Irish family-run producer of Smoked fish. The company is established in 1989 and located on Kincora Road, Lisdoonvarna, County Clare. It was set up by Peter and Birgitta Curtin. The Burren Smokehouse started with the smoking and curing of salmon. Later they branched out into mackerel, trout and eel. Cheese was the latest addition to the package. According to Good Food Ireland is the Burren Smokehouse a "highly acclaimed, award winning traditional smokehouse".

Caherconnell Stone Fort

Caherconnell (Irish: Cathair Chonaill, meaning "Conall's stone ringfort") is an ancient and exceptionally well-preserved Celtic stone ringfort in The Burren of County Clare, Ireland. It lies about 1 km south of the Poulnabrone dolmen. This fort and other sites like it would have been dwelt from about 500 to 1500 CE. From summer 2010, Caherconnell has been home to an archaeological field school where students can learn archaeological techniques from leading archaeologists.

C.B.S. Secondary School Ennistymon

CBS Ennistymon is an all-boys secondary school located in Ennistymon Co. Clare. It was founded in 1824 by Blessed Edmund Ignatius Rice and one of the oldest Christian Brothers Schools in the country and is also the only all-boys school in Co. Clare. The last brother to be principal (Brother Ned Hayden) left the school in 1996 Mr Micheál Ó Maolchaoin was acting principal for 2 years and then made the first lay principal of the school.

Poulnabrone dolmen

Poulnabrone Dolmen (Poll na mBrón in Irish meaning "hole of the quern stones" ") is a portal tomb in the Burren, County Clare, Ireland, dating back to the Neolithic period, probably between 4200 BC to 2900 BC. It is situated 8 km (5 miles) south of Ballyvaughan in the parish of Carran, 9.6 km (6 miles) north-west of Kilnaboy.
