Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly

The Metropolitan Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly (Irish: Ard-Deoise Chaisil agus Imligh) is a Roman Catholic archdiocese in mid-western Ireland. The archdiocese is in the secular province of Munster. The Diocese of Cashel was established in 1111 by the Synod of Rathbreasail and promoted to the status of a Metropolitan Province in 1152 by the Synod of Kells. The incumbent Ordinary is Dermot Clifford.

Thurles railway station

Thurles railway station is near the centre of Thurles town, North Tipperary in Ireland. The station has two through platforms and one terminating platform. It is a major station on the Dublin-Cork line with an average of 17 trains in both directions daily. The station was the location of the arrest of William Smith O'Brien on 5th August 1848 while he was waiting for a train after an unsuccessful insurrection in Ballingarry in South Tipperary.

Templemore railway station

Templemore railway station is a mainline railway station situated 2 km from the town of Templemore, Ireland. The station is on the Dublin-Cork and Dublin-Limerick railway lines. The station has two platforms, and is fully accessible to wheelchair users since the addition of lifts at each end of a footbridge. The station is approximately 2km from the Garda Síochána College (main police training centre for the Republic of Ireland) The station opened on 3 July 1848.
