Galmoy Mine is a zinc and lead mine 50 km northwest of Kilkenny, Ireland. Located in the Rathdowney Trend, Galmoy is an underground mine. The Rathdowney Trend, stretches 40 kilometres, between the towns of Abbeyleix and Thurles. The region is a broad plain drained by the Rossetown and Drish Rivers, tributaries of the River Suir, which flows into the sea at Waterford.

Templetuohy

Templetuohy, often written Templetouhy, is a village in North Tipperary, Ireland. It is situated in the townland of Longorchard in the civil parish of Templetouhy. The local GAA club is Moyne-Templetuohy GAA which is organised by Tipperary GAA. The village is joined to Moyne to form the ecclesiastical parish of Templetuohy and Moyne in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly. It is located on the R502 road, 9km from Templemore to the west and 12km from the M8 motorway to the east.

Fenians Johnstown GAA

Fenians Johnstown is an Irish Gaelic Athletic Association club in County Kilkenny, Ireland. Hurling is the dominant sport in the club, which has provided the Kilkenny intercounty team with several top players. The club has also found success at county, provincial and even All-Ireland level.

Moyne Aerodrome

Moyne Aerodrome is an aerodrome situated north east of Thurles, North Tipperary in Ireland. It one of only two official aerodromes in County Tipperary. From the air, this Aerodrome is difficult to find, as there is nothing remarkable that stands out in the vicinity of the airfield. There is a large factory building about 1 km west of the field which may be the best landmark for the airfield.
