Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly

The Metropolitan Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly (Irish: Ard-Deoise Chaisil agus Imligh) is a Roman Catholic archdiocese in mid-western Ireland. The archdiocese is in the secular province of Munster. The Diocese of Cashel was established in 1111 by the Synod of Rathbreasail and promoted to the status of a Metropolitan Province in 1152 by the Synod of Kells. Thurles railway station

Thurles railway station is near the centre of Thurles town, North Tipperary in Ireland. The station has two through platforms and one terminating platform. It is a major station on the Dublin-Cork line with an average of 17 trains in both directions daily. The station was the location of the arrest of William Smith O'Brien on 5th August 1848 while he was waiting for a train after an unsuccessful insurrection in Ballingarry in South Tipperary.

Thurles Gaels GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association hurling and gaelic football club, a combination of three clubs, Thurles Kickhams, Rahealty and Thurles Fennellys located in Thurles, Tipperary, Ireland. The club was formed in 2005 under the name Thurles KRF and changed its name to Thurles Gaels in 2009.
