Ural River
The Ural or Jayıq/Zhayyq, known as Yaik before 1775, is a river flowing through Russia and Kazakhstan. It originates in the southern Ural Mountains and ends at the Caspian Sea. Its total length is 1,511 mi (2,428 km), making it the third longest river in Europe after the Volga and the Danube. Along with the Volga, the Ural River is one of the major rivers feeding the Caspian Sea.

Bolshiye Peshnyye Islands
The Bolshiye Peshnyye Islands (Ostrova Bol'shiye Peshnyye) is a group of two small islands in the Caspian Sea. It is located 7 km off the coast, 15 km SSE of Peshnoy. The Bolshiye Peshnyye Islands are 2.5 km away from each other. The northern island has a length of 2 km and a maximum width of 0.7 km. The crescent-shaped southern island is 3.2 km long and only 400 m wide on average. Administratively the Bolshiye Peshnyye Islands belong to the Atyrau Province of Kazakhstan.
