Solai is a town in Nakuru District, Rift Valley Province, Kenya. It is located about thirty kilometers north of the district capital, Nakuru. Administratively, Solai is a location in Bahati division of Nakuru District. Solai location has a population of 35,949. Solai is also an electoral ward in Rongai Constituency and Nakuru County Council . Elevation = 1952m.

The Great Rift Valley is a name given in the late 19th century by British explorer John Walter Gregory to the continuous geographic trench, approximately 6,000 kilometres in length, that runs from northern Syria to central Mozambique in South East Africa. Rongai is a town in Nakuru District, Rift Valley Province, Kenya. It lies 30 km west of Nakuru, along the A104 Road and the railway line between Nakuru and Uganda. It is about 10 kilometres north of Elburgon and 15 kilometres east of Molo. The town lies 1912 m (6272 ft) above sea level and has a population of 20878. Rongai is part of the Rongai Constituency.

Jomo Kenyatta High School
Jomo Kenyatta High School is located in Bahati Division, Nakuru District, Rift Valley Province in Kenya. Initially this school was known as Ngwataniro Secondary School, but later renamed after Kenya's first president Jomo Kenyatta. It was pioneered by among others the late Kihika Kimani. It is scenically located facing the famous Menengai Crater on the rise towards the Kenyan Eastern Highlands, in the Great Rift Valley.
