Gradište or Kaljaja is a fortress located near village Podgrađe, 10 kilometers south-east of Gnjilane. It was built on a hill overlooking the confluence of a stream in Binačka Morava, and dates from the 14th century. District of Gnjilane
The District of Gnjilane or District of Gjilan (Albanian: Qarku i Gjilanit; is one the seven districts of Kosovo, with seat in the town of Gnjilane. The region corresponds the same area as locally known as Anamorava which is seen as part of the region because of the Morava river. Prilepnica Lake
Prilepnica Lake is a small lake situated in western Kosovo, surrounded by the Goljak mountains. Prilepnica Lake is found just north-east of the city of Gnjilane, also it supplies water for the city. A tributary of the South Morava flows through the lake and it is the largest lake in the east of Kosovo.
