The Molėtai Astronomical Observatory (MAO; Molėtų astronomijos observatorija in Lithuanian) is an astronomical observatory owned and operated by the Institute of Theoretical Physics and Astronomy of Lithuania. Labanoras Regional Park
Labanoras Regional Park, established in 1992, is located 80 kilometers northeast of Lithuania's capital, Vilnius. Covering 553 hectares, it is the largest regional park in the country. The park contains about 70 lakes; about 80% of its land is forested. Its floral biodiversity is high, and it is home to the densest population of nesting White Stork couples in Europe. It also contains areas with archeological, architectural, ethnographic, and historic value.

Baltieji Lakajai
Baltieji Lakajai is a major lake of eastern Lithuania, located about 12 miles east of Moletai, in Labanoras Regional Park of Utena County. It is part of the Neris River basin, an elongated lake in a west - east direction. The lake is of glacial original as are all 9,000 and odd natural lakes (at the last official count and over 4,000 larger than half a hectare) covering 1.5 per cent of the land area of the Lithuania.
