Pociūnai Airport, also known as Prienai Airport or Prienai Pociūnai Airport, is an aerodrome and a small airport located in Ašminta elderate of Kaunas district municipality, Lithuania; 38 km south of the Kaunas centre. Pakuonis
Pakuonis is a small town in Prienai district municipality, Lithuania. It is located near the Neman River. According to 2001 census, it has population of 680. The village was first mentioned in 1744. The first church was built in 1792 or 1794 and the town began to grow around it. On April 23, 2004 town coat of arms, depicting a blooming apple tree, was approved by a presidential decree.

Kruonis Pumped Storage Plant
Kruonis Pumped Storage Plant (the KPSP) is located near Kruonis, Lithuania, 34 km east of Kaunas. Its main purpose is to provide a spinning reserve of the power system, to regulate the load curve of the power system 24 hours a day. It operates in conjunction with the Kaunas Hydroelectric Power Plant. During periods of low demand, usually at night, Kruonis PSHP is operated in pump mode, and, using cheap surplus energy, raises water from lower - Kaunas reservoir to upper one.
