Batu Enam

Batu Anam is a small town in Segamat District which is the northernmost district in the State of Johore, Malaysia. The actual spelling is Batu Anam but it has now been corrupted to Batu Enam. It is surrounded by rubber and oil palm plantations and the more prominent plantations are Sungei Senarut Estate, Paya Lang Estate and Gomali Estate with a number of smaller estates and smallholdings. There is an old rubber factory known as H&C Latex still in use.

Buloh Kasap Bridge

Buloh Kasap Bridge is a famous historical bridge during World War II. It is located on Federal route in the town of Buloh Kasap, Johor, Malaysia. The bridge is built across Muar River (Sungai Muar) which flows pass Buloh Kasap. The old bridge of Buloh Kasap was built by British government during the construction of Federal Route 1. However, the British soldiers demolished a part of the bridge during World War II to stop the advance of Japanese soldiers from moving forward to Singapore.

Buloh Kasap

Buloh Kasap is a town in Segamat District, Johor, Malaysia which is located about 10 km from Segamat town center via Federal Route 1. Because of its location near Segamat, Buloh Kasap may also act as a satellite town of Segamat. Tun Abd Razak Highway is located roughly about 4 km from Buloh Kasap. The largest housing area in Buloh Kasap is Taman Yayasan which is located at Tun Abd Razak Highway junction.

Gemas Baharu

Gemas Baharu is a small town in the district of Segamat, Johor, Malaysia. The town was located near Johor-Negeri Sembilan border, just 1 km near the original town centre of Gemas itself which was located at Negeri Sembilan side, therefore Gemas Baharu was considered as the Johorean part of Gemas. The historic bridge which was once destroyed to stop the Japanese army invasion during the World War II was located there.

Gemas railway station

The Gemas railway station is a Malaysian train station located at the eastern side of and named after the town of Gemas, Negeri Sembilan. Built in 1922, the station is also a railway junction connecting the West Coast Line (Padang Besar - Singapore) with the East Coast Line (Tumpat - Gemas). As part of the Seremban-Gemas double tracking and electrification, the Gemas station was rebuilt as another hub for railway operation.
