Kunak

Kunak is a small town located in Tawau Division, east coast of Sabah in Malaysia. It was formerly a sub-district administered under the Lahad Datu District Office, but achieved its status as a full district on 1 June 1981. Its population was estimated at 48,571 in 2000. The population is mainly Bajau and Bugis,. There is also a sizeable Chinese population,involved in the running of most shops in the town. Many are also landowners who cultivate oil palms.

Timbun Mata

Timbun Mata Island (or Pulau Timbun Mata) is the largest island on the south side of Darvel Bay, in Semporna, Sabah, Malaysia. It is over 26 kilometers long and at the widest is almost 10 kilometers wide. The island is mountainous and was formerly (pre-2000) densely wooded. Mt. Tannabalu, the highest point at 620 m. , is a conical, extinct volcano located at the center of the island. A secondary peak, Mt. Sedungal, at the east end of the island rises to 489 m.

Tabawan Island

Tabawan Island, Tabauawan or Pulau Tabauwan is the highest and largest of a group of heavily wooded islands lying in the southwest quadrant of Darvel Bay (Teluk Lahad Datu), Sabah. It has dual volcanic peaks, and is 275 meters at its highest point. On the south side of the island there is a small bay, or inlet, quite deep, at 25 to 35 meters. It is about 7.25 kilometers from Sebatik Island, which lies to the southeast.
