Pakan, Sarawak

Pakan is a town in the Malaysian state of Sarawak on the island of Borneo. It is located in the district of Julau, Sarikei Division, near Meluan town. It lies approximately 153.8 kilometres east-north-east of the state capital Kuching. Most of its inhabitants are ethnic Iban group.

Bukit Batu

Bukit Batu is a small village in the north tip of Kulaijaya District. Bukit Batu means "Hill of Rock" in Malay. It is located near Layang-Layang. A mainly Hakka community, the majority of the villagers subname is "Chong". The village's legend, about hundred years ago, the tiger Kalimantan conquered and chaos this area, and Chong successfully lead a group of villagers to stop and kill the tiger.
