Sungai Besar

Sungai Besar is a coastal town in the district of Sabak Bernam in Selangor, Malaysia. The town is located about 120 km north of Kuala Lumpur. Sungai Besar's population is estimated to be around 23,000 of which 43% are within 20 to 55 years old. From that total, around 73 percent are Malays (Banjar & jawa), Chinese (23%) and Indian (3.5%). Majority of its people are working as farmers and fisherman, as well as working in coconut, padi planting, and palm oil plantations.

Sabak

Sabak is the principal town of Sabak Bernam district in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. It is situated on north west of Selangor state which was naturally bordered to Perak state by the Bernam River. The town is preserving under Sabak Bernam District Municipal and currently ruled by a state assemblyman Mr Warno Dogol and member of Parliament, Mr Abdul Rahman Bakri.
