Njegoš is a mountain in Montenegro. This mountain is 1,725 meters high. It is 26 km east to northeast from Bileća, a town about 26 km northwest from Nikšić. The bigger part of this mountain is in vegetation, while the northern end is naked.

Kapino Polje Airport

Nikšić Airport (Serbian: Аеродром Капино поље, Aerodrom Kapino polje) is a sport airport located near Nikšić, Montenegro. The airport was built as a small airstrip with one grass runway during the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. On 14 April 1941, King Peter II of Yugoslavia used the airfield to leave the country, escaping the Axis powers invasion. In Sept 1948, it was used as a stop for transfer of first 6 Spitfires from Czechoslovakia to Israel, thus playing a small role in 1948 Arab–Israeli War.

Battle of Grahovac

The Battle of Grahovac, in today's Montenegro, occurred from 28 April to 1 May 1858, when the Grand Duke Mirko Petrović-Njegoš, elder brother of Prince Danilo, led a strong army of 7,500 and won a crucial battle against the Turks (army of between 7,000 to 13,000) at Grahovac. The Turkish forces were routed. A considerable arsenal of war trophies were left in Montenegrin hands, to come in handy again in the final wars of independence in 1862 and 1875-1878.
