Stade de Marrakech

Stade de Marrakech, The Marrakesh Stadium, is a multi-use stadium in Marrakech, Morocco. It was designed by Gregotti Associati International. Completed in January 2011, it is used mostly for football matches with the capability of hosting Olympic Games. It is home to Kawkab Marrakech football team. The stadium has a capacity of 45,240 people. It replaces Stade El Harti as the home of Kawkab Marrakech and as the main statdium of the city. It will host the 2014 IAAF Continental Cup.

Ben Youssef Madrasa

The Ben Youssef Madrasa was an Islamic college in Marrakech, Morocco, named after the Almoravid sultan Ali ibn Yusuf (reigned 1106–1142), who expanded the city and its influence considerably. It is the largest Medrasa in all of Morocco. The college was founded during the period of the Marinid (14th century) by the Marinid sultan Abu al-Hassan and allied to the neighbouring Ben Youssef Mosque. The building of the madrasa was re-constructed by the Saadian Sultan Abdallah al-Ghalib (1557–1574).

Jemaa el-Fnaa

Jamaa el Fna is a square and market place in Marrakesh's medina quarter (old city). The origin of its name is unclear: Jemaa means "congregational mosque" in Arabic, probably referring to a destroyed Almoravid mosque. "Fanâʼ" or "finâ'" can mean "death" or "a courtyard, space in front of a building. " Thus, one meaning could be "The mosque or assembly of death," or "The Mosque at the End of the World".

Bahia Palace

The Bahia Palace is a palace and a set of gardens located in Marrakech, Morocco. It was built in the late 19th century, intended to be the greatest palace of its time. The name means "brilliance". As in other buildings of the period in other countries, it was intended to capture the essence of the Islamic and Moroccan style. There is a 2 acre (8,000 m²) garden with rooms opening onto courtyards.
