Nador International Airport

Nador International Airport (is an airport serving Nador, a city in the Oriental region in Morocco. It is also known as Al Aroui International Airport or Arwi Airport. An initial airport was created in 1931 in the village of Taumina and was the primary airport for Melilla, a Spanish enclave to the north. Following the independence of the Kingdom of Morocco, Melilla began steps in creating an airport within Spanish control.

Nador

Nador is a city located in the northeastern Rif region of Morocco. The city is a Mediterranean port on the Bḥar Ameẓẓyan lagoon (Mar Chica in Spanish), and it is the major trading center in the region for fish, fruit, and livestock. It is linked to the Spanish city of Melilla, 12 kilometers to the north, by a semi-motorway. Nador is populated by a Riff-Berber population of more than 180,000 inhabitants. The city became the administrative capital of an independent province within Morocco in 1956.

Nador transmitter

Nador transmitter is the main transmission facility for longwave and shortwave of Medi 1 Radio, a privately owned broadcasting company of Morocco. It is situated approximately 18 kilometres south of the city of Nador and a few kilometres south of Selouane at 35°2'29"N and 2°55'7"W. The longwave transmitter of Nador transmitter, which works on 171 kHz. has a transmission power of 2000 kilowatts.
