Rutten is a village in the Dutch province of Flevoland. It is a part of the municipality of Noordoostpolder, and lies about 8 km northwest of Emmeloord. In 2001, Rutten had 681 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.2 km², and contained 292 residences. Rutten has a soccer club called Rutten Komt Op(RKO).

Lemmer

Lemmer is a town in the municipality of Lemsterland, in the Netherlands. It has a population of around 10,500 and is one of Friesland's most famous water sport towns. Lemmer also is a common Luxembourgish last name. The Ir.D.F. Woudagemaal (D.F. Wouda Steam Pumping Station) is a World Heritage Site.

Ir.D.F. Woudagemaal

The ir. D.F. Woudagemaal is a pumping station in the Netherlands, and the largest still operational steam-powered pumping station in the world. On October 7, 1920 Queen Wilhelmina opened the pumping station. It was built to pump excess water out of Friesland, a province in the north of the Netherlands. In 1967, after running on coal for 47 years, the boilers were converted to run on heavy fuel oil. It has a pumping capacity of 4,000 m3 per minute.

Creil is a village in the Dutch province of Flevoland. It is a part of the municipality of Noordoostpolder, and lies about 6 km northwest of Emmeloord. In 2005, Creil had 1,596 inhabitants. Creil serves a small village where local people can go to the church and do their shopping. There is one public school, and one church.

Bant is a village in the Dutch province of Flevoland. It is a part of the municipality of Noordoostpolder, and lies about 7 km north of Emmeloord. Bant was created in 1951 as one of ten planned villages around the new city of Emmeloord, which was constructed in 1943, in land reclaimed from the IJsselmeer. In 2001, Bant had 754 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.2 km², and contained 302 residences.
