Roodeschool
Roodeschool is a community situated in the northeast of Groningen province in the Netherlands and forming part of the municipality of Eemsmond. Roodeschool's railway station is the northernmost in the Netherlands. The name, which means "red school", is derived from the local noteworthiness of the red roof tiles of a village school which once stood in the vicinity.

Eemshaven
Eemshaven is a seaport in Groningen, Netherlands. In 1968, the Dutch government declared the Ems estuary to be an economic key region. One of the key developments for the region was the construction of a seaport called Eemshaven. The port was officially opened by Her Majesty Queen Juliana in 1973. In 2007, one of its main activities is the projected construction of an LNG terminal and ongoing plans for the building of a biodiesel factory as well as a nuclear power plant.

Uithuizermeeden
Uithuizermeeden is a small village in the Netherlands, with a population of about 3200 people. It is part of the municipality of Eemsmond, close to the Wadden Sea. The most important points are the Meister Toren and the Rensumaborg (dated 1700, not open for public). The Meister Toren dated from the thirteenth century, but was rebuilt at the end of the 19th century in original style, after a fire destroyed it. Uithuizermeeden has a population of more than 3200 people.
