Noorddijk, Groningen
Noorddijk is a village in the Dutch province of Groningen. It is located in the municipality of Groningen, about 5 km northeast of the city centre. Noorddijk was a separate municipality until 1969, when it was merged with the city of Groningen.

Oosterpark Stadion
Oosterpark Stadion was the stadium of football club FC Groningen until December 2005. The all-seater stadium in Groningen's Oosterpark neighbourhood was inaugurated on September 30, 1933, and renovated in 1960, 1984 and 1987/88. The stadium has been replaced by the new, larger Euroborg stadium, and the ground it occupied is being redeveloped. The stadium's peak capacity was 22,000 spectators (in 1985). At the time of the demolition, the capacity was 11,224.

Euroborg
Euroborg is the stadium of football club FC Groningen, with a capacity of 22,329 seats and located to the south-east of Groningen. The stadium site houses a casino, movie theater, school, supermarket, and a fitness centre. A temporary railway station at the Euroborg Stadium opened in late 2007, and a permanent one is set to open in 2013. The stadium's seats are completely clad in the club's colors of green and white, with 1,000 seats available for supporters of the away team.

Harkstede
Harkstede is a small village in Slochteren, Groningen (province), the Netherlands. Its name is "Haarkstee" in the local dialect, the Gronings. The name is probably meant as "Arkes Stee", which means "pleace for a ark = church". Harkstede has about 3000 inhabitants, what makes it one of the smaller villages in the area. This number will increase in the near future, because of the "Meerstad-project" of the City of Groningen, meaning hundreds of new homes will be built in and around Harkstede.

Groninger Forum
The Groninger Forum is a project that is beginning in the city of Groningen, the Netherlands, with a planned completion in 2016. The east side of Groningen's Grote Markt was destroyed in World War II, and was replaced with buildings that have long since lost their appeal. The Groninger Forum is a new institute that will overlook the Grote Markt instead of the current buildings. It is a centre for knowledge and culture, containing the archives and a debate centre.
