Susteren

Susteren is a city in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is located in the municipality of Echt-Susteren, about 7 km northwest of Sittard. It was a separate municipality until 2003, when it was merged with Echt. Susteren received town privileges in 1276. Susteren harboured the Benedictine Abbey Susteren, that was founded in the 8th century and was closed at the end of the 18th century. Its Romanesque church was raised to the status of a basilica in 2007 by pope Benedict XVI.

Gebroek

Gebroek is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is a part of the municipality of Echt-Susteren, and lies about 11 km north of Sittard. In 2001, Gebroek had 139 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.08 km², and contained 55 residences.

Ohé en Laak

Ohé en Laak is a small village in the province of Limburg, Netherlands, which has been subsumed into the municipality of Maasgouw. The village used to be home to several castles, one of which is Hasseltholt which is popularly called "Het Geudje". The other was the castle of Walburg. This castle was ruined and is fully removed now. The soccer team is called Walburgia. Furthermore there is a renovated windmill called "De Hompesche molen".
