Alfa Brewery

Schinnen

Schinnen is a municipality and a town in the province of Limburg, the Netherlands. It is home to US Army Garrison Schinnen, a support base for US personnel assigned to nearby Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum. It is also the location of Alfa Brewery, the only brewery in the Netherlands that uses an officially certified underground spring.

Nuth is a municipality and a village in the Dutch province of Limburg, situated in the southern Netherlands. The village Nuth has 5,548 inhabitants, and is with that the largest village of the municipality. The town hall of the municipality Nuth is also situated in the village Nuth. The other villages in the municipality are Hulsberg with 4,300 inhabitants, Schimmert with 3,339, Wijnandsrade with 1,812 and Vaesrade with 1,027 inhabitants .

Oirsbeek

Oirsbeek is a village in the southeast of the Netherlands, part of the municipality of Schinnen. Between 1839 and 1982, Oirsbeek was a separate municipality. Oirsbeek has about 4000 inhabitants. The Sint Lambertuskerk, a Roman Catholic Church, was built in 1951 by Frits Peutz on the remains of two older churches: the original church built in 1514 and a second church built in 1830. It is unknown where the name Oirsbeek originates from.
