Klaaswaal
Klaaswaal is a village and former municipal in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is centrally located on one of the islands of South Holland called the Hoeksche Waard. Klaaswaal was a separate municipality until 1984, when it was merged with the municipal Numansdorp in a new municipal called Cromstrijen. The population size is 4,047 as of December 31, 2009.

Hoeksche Waard
The Hoeksche Waard is an island between the Oude Maas, Dordtsche Kil, Hollands Diep, Haringvliet and Spui rivers in the province of Zuid Holland in the Netherlands. The island is a mostly agricultural region, south of Rotterdam. The Hoeksche Waard consists of reclaimed land: after the Saint Elisabeth flood of 1421 most of the area was flooded. The land has been reclaimed gradually in the following centuries.

Westmaas is a village in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is located about 14 km south of the city of Rotterdam, next to Mijnsheerenland in the municipality of Binnenmaas. Westmaas was a separate municipality between 1817 and 1984, when it became part of Binnenmaas.

Mijnsheerenland
Mijnsheerenland is a village on the Hoeksche Waard in the Dutch province of South Holland with 4,435 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2006). It is located on the shores of the Binnenbedijkte Maas (Lake Binnenmaas), about 14 km south of the city of Rotterdam, in the municipality of Binnenmaas. It is the only village in the municipality not built next to a dyke.
