Kihikihi
Kihikihi is a small town located in the Waikato region of the North Island of New Zealand. It is a satellite community of Te Awamutu, five kilometres to the north, and is 35 kilometres south of Hamilton. The population in the 2006 Census was 1,959 people, an increase of 18 since 2001. The town's outer rim has now merged with the expanding rim of Te Awamutu, rendering the boundary between the two towns difficult to perceive. Kihikihi means cicada in the Māori language.

Albert Park, Te Awamutu
Albert Park is a cricket and rugby league ground in Te Awamutu, Waikato, New Zealand. The first recorded cricket match held on the ground came in 1980 when Midlands played Bay of Plenty in the 1980/81 Hawke Cup. The ground later held a first-class match in the 1987/88 Shell Trophy when Northern Districts played Central Districts, with the match ending in a draw.

Puniu River
The Puniu River is a river of the Waikato Region of New Zealand's North Island. As a tributary of the Waipa River (itself a tributary of the Waikato River, and at a length of 57 kilometres, it is one of the longest secondary tributaries in New Zealand. The Puniu flows initially north from sources within the Pureora Forest Park, veering northwest to pass south of the towns of Kihikihi and Te Awamutu before meeting the Waipa River three kilometres south of Pirongia.
