Tennyson Inlet

Tennyson Inlet, is the western arm of Pelorus Sound in the Marlborough Sounds. Tennyson Inlet encompasses Duncan Bay to Tawhitinui Reach. This area is about ten kilometers long. Tarakaipa and Tawhitinui Islands are the two largest islands in the inlet. There are three main settlements which are used mostly for recreation.

Whangamoa River

The Whangamoa River is a river of the Nelson Region of New Zealand's South Island. It flows generally northeast from its origins in the northern Bryant Range 15 kilometres northeast of Nelson city centre to reach Tasman Bay close to the northeastern end of Delaware Bay.

Fairy Bay

Fairy Bay is located on the eastern side of Mt Stanley (971m) in Pelorus Sound, part of the Marlborough Sounds Maritime Park, located at the top of the South Island, New Zealand. The origin of the name is thought to have been the Fairy Penguin. A neighbouring bay immediately to the south is called Penguin Bay.
