Nayland College

Nayland College is a coeducational secondary school which is located in Stoke, Nelson, New Zealand. It is one of two secondary schools in Nelson which are coeducational. Stoke Railway Station

Stoke railway station was a single-platform provincial railway station serving the town of Stoke, south of Nelson in New Zealand’s South Island. It was one of 25 stations on the Nelson Section, and existed from 1876 to 1955. Facilities at the station included a small wooden station building, a thirty-one wagon loop, a loading bank and stockyards.

Nelson Airport is an airport in Nelson, New Zealand. Approximately 1.2 million passengers and visitors are said to use the airport terminal annually. Total passenger numbers for the 2011 financial year were 758,250. This represents passenger growth of approximately 11% on the previous year. Its currently the sixth busiest airport in New Zealand by passenger traffic. Construction of Nelson Airport commenced in 1937.

The Grampians, New Zealand

The Grampians are a set of prominent hills forming the southeast backdrop of Nelson, reaching 390 metres high. Frequented by locals and tourists alike, they are covered in a myriad of tracks ranging from leisurely strolls to relatively taxing steep inclines. Entry points to this recreational area are from Van Diemen Street, Collingwood Street, and Broughham Street. A TV transmitter at the top is visible from most of Nelson.
