Ohuhu people

The Ohuhu community of the Igbo people, also referred to as Ohonhaw, form an autonomous community of Umuahia North local government Of Umuahia, Abia state, Nigeria, consisting of several villages including Umukabia, Ohiya, Isingwu, Ofeme, Afugiri, Nkwoegwu, Umuawa, etc. Ohuhu was formerly known as Umuhu-na-Okaiuga, or better-known as Ohu-ahia-na-otu. Until 1949, the Umuopara clan used to be part of Ohuhu.

Umukabia

Umukabia (Igbo for Ukabia's children) is a village in the Ohuhu community of Umuahia North Local Government Area, Abia State, Nigeria. There are also several other villages in Nigeria with the same name. It is made up of 3 smaller villages namely; Okpuala being the eldest, followed by Umuagbom and Azummiri. Its market day is known as Orie and has a major river known as Ikwu which is a tributary of the Imo river.

Uturu

Uturu is a town in Abia State, Nigeria mainly known as a location for several educational institutions and the Marist Brothers community. Schools in Uturu include Abia State University, Marist Brothers' Juniorate, Uturu, and Marist Comprehensive Academy, Uturu. Uturu is divided into two regions, Ihite and Ikeagha. Ihite comprises Achara and Mba Ugwu (Ugwu-Ogu, Ugwu-Ele, Ngodo, Amegu, Obi-Agu, Nnembi and Aro).

Okigwe

Okigwe is the second largest city in Imo state of Nigeria. The city lies between the Port Harcourt-Enugu-Maiduguri rail line. Thus has grown into a major cattle transit town for the southeast and south subregions. Okigwe has a population of 535,765 (2005 est.). Most of the population is made up of immigrant workers from other states. Okigwe city was the primary host site of the old Imo State University. Okigwe has various tourist and historical sites.
