Ishiagu

Ishiagu is a town in the Ivo Local Government Area in Ebonyi State, Nigeria, located on the plains of the south-eastern savannah belt. It is the location of the Federal College of Agriculture, Ishiagu. An open-pit lead/zinc mine was opened in 1965, and closed 17 years later. Oil spill and oil pipeline vandalism in the area has caused significant environmental damage.

Ohuhu people

The Ohuhu community of the Igbo people, also referred to as Ohonhaw, form an autonomous community of Umuahia North local government Of Umuahia, Abia state, Nigeria, consisting of several villages including Umukabia, Ohiya, Isingwu, Ofeme, Afugiri, Nkwoegwu, Umuawa, etc. Ohuhu was formerly known as Umuhu-na-Okaiuga, or better-known as Ohu-ahia-na-otu. Until 1949, the Umuopara clan used to be part of Ohuhu.
