Igbo-Ukwu

Igbo-Ukwu is a town in the Nigerian state of Anambra in the southeastern part of the country. It is notable for three archaeological sites, where excavations have found bronze artifacts from a highly sophisticated bronze metal-working culture dating perhaps to the 9th or 10th century, centuries before other known bronzes of the region. The first, called Igbo Isaiah, was uncovered in 1938 by Isaiah Anozie a local villager, who stumbled upon the bronze works while digging beside his home.

Umuchu

Umuchu is the largest town in Aguata local government of Anambra State, Nigeria. Anambra is the cradle of Igbo people of eastern Nigeria. Umuchu shares boundary in the north with Achina and Enugwu-Umuonyia communities (both in Aguata, Anambra state). Umuchu is bordered in the south by Akokwa town in Imo State. In the west, it is bordered by Uga Town and Amesi town(Aguata Anambra) and in the East by Umunze and Isuokpu/umualaoma communities (both in Orumba Anambra state).

Nnewi

Nnewi is the second largest city in Anambra State in southeastern Nigeria. Nnewi as a metropolitan city encompasses two local government areas, Nnewi North and Nnewi South; Nnewi North is commonly referred to as Nnewi central, and comprises four autonomous quarters: Otolo, Uruagu, Umudim, and Nnewi-ichi. Nnewi North also includes Ichi, an autonomous neighbouring town. As of 2006, Nnewi has an estimated population of 391,227 according to the Nigerian census.
