Uli, Anambra

Uli is a town of historic importance situated at the extreme southeast conner of Ihiala local government area of Anambra state in Nigeria. Her closest neibouring towns are Amaofuo (formerly a village in Uli town), Ihiala, Amorka, Ubulu, Ozara, Egbuoma and Ohakpu. Uli town extends westward to the confluence of the rivers of Atamiri and Enyinja, and across Usham Lake down to the lower Niger region.

Oguta

Oguta is a town on the east bank of Oguta Lake in Imo State of southeastern Nigeria. It is the administrative seat for Oguta LGA. Oguta was one of the first territories used by the British to advance into the Igbo hinterland. As of 2012 Oguta's population was estimated at 20,096. The city of Oguta is divided into two townships, Oguta 1 and Oguta 2, separated by its popular lake.

Oguta Lake

Oguta Lake is the largest natural lake in the Imo State of Nigeria. Located within the equatorial rainforest region, it is of enormous importance to the local population as a source of water, fish, tourism and also as an outlet for sewerage. Uhamiri is the goddess of Oguta Lake. Oguta Lake served as a Biafran army marine base during the Biafran War of 1967-1970.

Ihiala

Ihiala is a city in Nigeria, located in the south of the state Anambra, and has long served as the local administrative capital of the zone. The population is about 87,796 persons. Ihiala consists of several cities, such as Amorka, Azia, Okija, Mbosi, Iseke, Orsumoghu, Ubuluisuzor and Uli. It lies in the agricultural belt of the state. Ihiala is an unusually peaceful part of the country, attracting settlers wishing to escape other chaotic Nigerian cities.

Umunoha

Umunoha, is a village in southeastern Nigeria, located near the city of Owerri. The town usually, that is not always, is claimed to have been founded by a common ancestor, as we saw, usually larger-than-life, who begat several children to whom he allocated areas on which to settle. These areas eventually evolved to become villages. A typical example of such a claim is the tradition of origin of Umunoha autonomous community in Mbaitoli Local Government Area (LGA) of Imo State, Nigeria.
