Nkpor is a town in Idemili North local government area of Anambra state, southeastern Nigeria. The town of Nkpor had an estimated population of 109,377 in 2007. The name 'Nkpor' is derived from the adulteration of the igbo word 'nkpochi' meaning 'persistence'.
