Kyongwon County
Kyŏngwŏn County is a kun, or county, in North Hamgyong province, North Korea, located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:42|48|41|N|130|11|58|E| |primary |name= }}, formerly known as Saebyŏl. It is bordered by the People's Republic of China to the north and east, Kyonghung to the southeast, Hoeryong to the southwest, and Onsong to the west. Camp 22
Camp 22 (also called Hoeryong concentration camp or Haengyong concentration camp) is a political prison camp in North Korea. The official name is Kwan-li-so (penal labor colony) No. 22. The camp is a maximum security area, completely isolated from the outside world. Prisoners and their families are held in lifelong detention. Satellite image analysis and reports indicate major changes or even a closure of Camp 22 in 2012.
