Speed Monster

Tusenfryd

Tusenfryd (lit. "Thousand Joys", also common daisy) is an amusement park at Vinterbro, Norway. The park is located 20 kilometers south of Oslo. Two of the longest motorway corridors in Norway, E6 and E18, meet nearby Tusenfryd and the park is located on the west side near where they meet. SpeedMonster, SuperSplash, ThunderCoaster and SpaceShot make the park visible from the motorway. The park was officially opened on 11 June 1988, after a construction period of 18 months.

Solbråtan Station

Solbråtan Station is a railway station at Solbråtan in Oppegård, Norway. Located on the Østfold Line, it is served by the Oslo Commuter Rail line 500 operated by Norwegian State Railways with two hourly services. The station was opened in 1939.

Kolbotn

Kolbotn is the centre of Oppegård, Norway. The population is about 6,000. Kolbotn has several elementary schools, four middle schools and a high school. The Norwegian black metal band Darkthrone formed there in 1986. The football team Kolbotn IL hails from here. In 2006 Kolbotn women's team were top of the top league for women in Norway, the Toppserien. The team includes Norwegian national footballers Solveig Gulbrandsen, Trine Rønning, Christine Colombo Nilsen and Isabell Herlovsen.
