Evenstad

Evenstad is a small Norwegian town on the east bank of the Glomma river in the Stor-Elvdal municipality. The small community (it had a population of 77 in 2005 according to StatBank) is surrounded by forests, mountains and lakes. The town is home to the smallest campus of the Hedmark University College; the Faculty of Forestry and Wilderness Management has about 150 students.

Storsjøen (Rendalen)

Storsjøen (or Storsjø) is the ninth deepest lake in Norway at 309 m in depth. It lies in Rendalen and Åmot municipalities which are in Hedmark county, Norway. The lake is 35 km long, but only 1.7 km wide at its broadest point. The lake lies 251 meters above sea level, has an area of 51 km² and a volume of 7.07 km³.

Koppang

is a Norwegian town, the administrative centre of Stor-Elvdal municipality. It is served by the Koppang Station. The village has 1,174 inhabitants as of 1 January 2011, and located about 51 kilometers north of Rena. The name is after a kaupang (city / township) that should have been here in the Middle Ages. The site currently has several schools, shops, multi-use with the movie theater, library, bookstore, bank, etc. The valley is divided by Glomma.

Koppang Station

Koppang Station is a railway station located at Koppang in Stor-Elvdal, Norway on the Røros Line. It is located 246.81 kilometers from Oslo Central Station at 352.6 meters above mean sea level. Services are provided by the Norwegian State Railways to Røros and Hamar. The station opened in 1875. Norsk Spisevognselskap operated the restaurant from 15 June to 1 October 1925, after which operation was reverted to the station master.
