Osafjord

The Osafjord is an arm of the Hardangerfjord in Hordaland county, Norway. Fully located within Ulvik municipality, the fjord is 12 km long. The outermost part of the fjord is known as Bagnsfjorden, named after the headland where the fjord starts. The Ulvikfjord is an arm of the Osafjord.

Norseman triathlon

The Norseman xtreme triathlon is a non-Ironman branded triathlon, point to point, race held in Norway annually. The distances are equivalent to those of an Ironman race with the swim starting from the loading bay of a car ferry, through the water of the Hardangerfjord fjord to the local town, Eidfjord. At Eidfjord the competitors transition onto their bikes and then cycle 180 km through the mountains, the first 40 km of which is uphill (reaching 1200 m above sea level).

Hardanger Bridge

Hardanger Bridge is a bridge under construction which will cross the Hardangerfjord in southwestern Norway. It will replace today's ferry connection between Brurvik and Brimnes and will be a part of the shortest road connection between Oslo and Bergen.

The Sima Power Station is a hydroelectric power station located in the municipality Eidfjord in Hordaland, Norway. The facility Lang-Sima operates at an installed capacity of 500 MW, and has an average annual production of 1,212 GWh. The facility Sy-Sima has an installed capacity of 620 MW, and an average annual production of 1,640 GWh. Operator is Statkraft.
