Fyksesund Bridge

Fyksesund Bridge is a suspension road bridge that spans over Fyksesund on the road between Øystese and Ålvik in Hardanger, Norway. The bridge is 344 meters long, and the largest span is 230 meter. The bridge was opened on 9 October 1937 by the Norwegian crown prince Olav.

Fyksesund

Fyksesund is a sound or fjord in the municipality of Kvam in Hordaland county, Norway. It is spanned by the Fyksesund Bridge, which was opened by Crown Prince Olav in 1937. The Fyksesund Landscape Park is located by the sound.

Norheimsund

Norheimsund is the municipal administrative centre of Kvam, Norway. The village is located on the northern side of the Hardangerfjord, about 80 km from Bergen. The waterfall Steinsdalsfossen, as of 2006 the 6th most visited natural tourist attraction in Norway, is located near Norheimsund. In 2007, Norheimsund had a population of 2,053. Norheimsund does not have its own secondary school.
