The island is located between the islands of Finnøya (to the northeast) and Fjørtofta (to the southwest). Steinshamn, the municipal center, is located at the north end of the island where there is a causeway connecting it to Finnøya.

Midøya (sometimes called Mia) is an island in the municipality of Midsund in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It sits at the entrance to the Romsdalsfjord between the islands of Dryna and Otrøya. Until 1965 the island was divided between the municipalities of Sør-Aukra and Vatne. The Midsund Bridge connects the island to Otrøya.

Flemsøya (or Skuløya) is an island in the municipality of Haram in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The island is located between the islands of Haramsøya and Fjørtofta. It is connected to Haramsøya by the Ullasund Bridge. The population (2001) of the island was 568. The eastern and southern coastline is flat, the rest of the island is mountainous. The highest point, Skulen is 492 metres tall. The village of Longva is located on the west side of the island.
