Herøyfjord
The Herøyfjord (or Herøyfjorden) is a fjord which bisects the municipality of Herøy in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The fjord is about 8 kilometres long and about 2 kilometres wide, between the islands of Bergsøya and Gurskøya. The fjord has a maximum depth of 175 metres . The fjord has many islands in it including Herøya and Nautøya in the east. The Flåvær islands are located in the central part of the Herøyfjord.

Kvamsøya
Kvamsøya is an island in the municipality of Sande in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located 6 kilometres east of Stad in Selje and about 7 kilometres west of Larsnes on the island of Gurskøy. The island is mountainous and has very few trees on it. Kvamsøya has an area of 7.5 square kilometres and 292 inhabitants (2001), all of whom live along the shoreline. The island has been inhabited for a very long time. There have been settlements found on the island dating back to the Bronze Age.

Skorpa is an uninhabited island in the municipality of Herøy in Møre og Romsdal county Norway. Skorpa lies directly west of the island of Nerlandsøya, across the Skorpesund, about 6 kilometres west of Fosnavåg. The island of Gurskøy lies 5 kilometres to the southeast, across the Herøyfjord. The Svinøy lighthouse is located 11 kilometres to the east. The terrain is steep and rugged, the highest point being the mountain, Keipen, at a height of 431 metres above sea level.

It includes the islets Flåvær, Husholmen, Torvholmen, and Vardholmen (the Norwegian term holme translates as islet, signifying that these are small).

Nerlandsøya is an island in the municipality of Herøy in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The island is located northwest of the municipal center of Fosnavåg and east of the island of Skorpa. The island is connected to the island Bergsøya (to the southeast) by the Nerlandsøy Bridge. The Flåvær islands lie to the south. The highest point on the island is Storevarden which is 430 metres above sea level. The island has an area of 14.6 square kilometres .
