Since my vacation was in Bodø, I had to film some trains there. Here you see the "Day train" from Bodø to Trondheim departing Bodø station and starts on it's 729 km (453 miles) journey on the Nordland ..

Bodø Main Air Station

Bodø Main Air Station is a military airbase of the Royal Norwegian Air Force (RNoAF) located at Bodø, Norway. It is home to the General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcons of the 331 and 332 Squadrons and a detachment of Westland Sea King search and rescue (SAR) helicopters of the 330 Squadron. Air defense is provided using NASAMS and RBS 70, with the battalion based at Bodin. About 1,000 employees work at the air station, of which 450 are conscripts.

Aspmyra Stadion

Aspmyra Stadion is a football stadium in Bodø, Norway. Home of Bodø/Glimt and Grand Bodø, it holds a capacity for 7,354 specators. The venue has three stands: a modern all-seater with roof, 100 club seats and 15 luxury boxes to the south, an unroofed all-seater to the east and an older grandstand with mixed sitting and standing to the north. The venue has floodlights and artificial turf with under-soil heating.

Bodø Cathedral

Bodø Cathedral is a cathedral in the municipality of Bodø in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the town of Bodø. The church is part of the Bodø parish in the Bodø deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The cathedral is also the seat of the Bishop of Sør-Hålogaland, currently Tor Berger Jørgensen since 2007.

Joint Rescue Coordination Centre of Northern Norway

The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre of Northern Norway or JRCC NN (Norwegian: Hovedredningssentralen i Nord-Norge) is a rescue coordination centre located in Bodø responsible for coordinating search and rescue operations in the northern part of Norway; it is responsible for coordinating search and rescue operations within Norway's Search and Rescue Region of Responsibility (SRR) north of 65 degrees north latitude. It reports to the Norwegian Ministry of Justice and the Police.

Bodø Station

Bodø Station is a railway station located in downtown Bodø in Nordland county, Norway. The station is the terminus of the Nordland Line that was completed in 1961. The station is served by day- and night trains to Trondheim and commuter trains to Rognan, operated by the Norwegian State Railways using Class 93 units. The decision to build the railway to Bodø was made in 1923, but was not completed until the 1960s due to lack of funds and World War II.
