Rønvik Church

Rønvik Church is a parish church in the municipality of Bodø in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the northern part of the town of Bodø. The church is part of the Kjerringøy og Rønvik parish in the Bodø deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The modern-style church was built in 1997. The architect Reidar Berg designed the structure which seats about 500 people. The building was consecrated on 30 November 1997.

Bodø Station

Bodø Station is a railway station located in downtown Bodø in Nordland county, Norway. The station is the terminus of the Nordland Line that was completed in 1961. The station is served by day- and night trains to Trondheim and commuter trains to Rognan, operated by the Norwegian State Railways using Class 93 units. The decision to build the railway to Bodø was made in 1923, but was not completed until the 1960s due to lack of funds and World War II.

Bodø Spektrum

Bodø Spektrum is an indoor sports complex in Bodø, Norway. In 1990, construction of Nordlandshallen started, which would allow Glimt a winter training ground, It opened on 21 September 1991. The largest hall is Nordlandshallen, an association football hall with artificial turf and seating for 5,500 used by Bodø/Glimt and Grand Bodø. Bodøhallen opened in 2007 and is used for handball by Bodø HK. It also consists of Nordlandsbadet, a swimming pool.

City Nord

City Nord is the largest shopping center in Nordland and one of the largest shopping centers in Northern Norway. The turnover for 2007 was NOK 800 million. City Nord was opened in autumn 1994. The building is 23.500 m and there are 43 stores.

Joint Rescue Coordination Centre of Northern Norway

The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre of Northern Norway or JRCC NN (Norwegian: Hovedredningssentralen i Nord-Norge) is a rescue coordination centre located in Bodø responsible for coordinating search and rescue operations in the northern part of Norway; it is responsible for coordinating search and rescue operations within Norway's Search and Rescue Region of Responsibility (SRR) north of 65 degrees north latitude. It reports to the Norwegian Ministry of Justice and the Police.
